UNIKA is a ceramics studio founded by Ece Bozkurt and based in Istanbul.

Each piece is shaped by hand on the potter’s wheel, using high-fired stoneware. The studio’s approach
focuses on minimal forms and the material itself — exploring how different clays react, how their textures form, and how the natural surface can be left visible.

The forms are simple and balanced; made to belong in daily life, yet carrying a quiet sculptural presence. Every piece reflects the raw character and honest texture of the clay it’s made from.

UNIKA stands between function and form — creating pieces made to be lived with, touched, and quietly admired. The work is minimal, characterful, and dedicated to showcasing the materials it’s made from.

A range of products is available through our website and various online stores. Beyond the existing collections, private commissions and custom orders are also accepted.
